WAM Slam 2017

The WAM Slam was of course a NSW heat of the Australian Poetry Slam. More of a celebration than a competition, but a competition nonetheless. Congratulations go winner, Luna Cardenas, and runners up Barry Pitman and Lisa Ride.

We know our region has talent. In 2016, the WAM Slam runner up, Wil Johnston from Corowa went to Sydney for the State finals and straight onto the National Final at the Opera House!
