Mitch Vane is a multidisciplinary artist based in Melbourne. She has worked in many areas of art and design and is best known for her children’s books, illustrated with a distinctive, loose, energetic pen and ink style .

Mitch has collaborated with many authors both in Australia and the US and has often teamed up with The Age columnist Danny Katz to create many humorous books. Their much loved Little Lunch series has been made into a highly successful TV series for ABC3, now showing on Netflix, and they are very excited to have released two new Little Lunch books to add to the collection.

Some of Mitch’s other works include; The Poppa Platoon series (Danny Katz), Danny Best series (Jen Storer), Whodunnit Eddie Woo? and Jasper McFlea Will Not Eat His Tea (Lee Fox), Our Last Trip To The Market (Lorin Clarke) and the CBCA short-listed The Deep End (Ursula Dubosarsky).
