Nick Steain is an comedian, actor, writer from Wodonga who has performed at the 2024 Melbourne Comedy Festival and Riverina Comedy Festival. His first ever lead role was portraying a notable "Hungry Harry" in Portarlington Primary School's Original Production of Ballooning Around the World in 2002. From there he knew his fate was sealed.
More recently Nick has collaborated with the HotHouse Theatre on numerous works such as The Plan (And Other Plans), A Land of Snow and Ice, This is Your City and Anchors. Nick was a part of the ABC's highly acclaimed political drama, Total Control.
Nick will present his debut solo comedy show The Errors Tour at the Melbourne Fringe Festival in October 2024 and looks forward to helping you revisit some childhood nostalgia by bringing Hazel Edwards' character of a cake-loving hippopotamus to life.
