A rich workshop with master storyteller, Arnold Zable, including practical exercises, feedback on participant’s projects and discussion of famous works motivated by the impulse for social justice.
Writing has the power to humanise, create empathy, and take the reader into other worlds, whether your own, or that of others. There is a long and rich history of writing about social justice. Whether employing fiction or non-fiction, short story or novel, poetry, opinion pieces or features, all share, in common, the art of story. Drawing on over thirty years of practical experience and on renowned examples across a range of genres, Arnold’s workshop will include feedback on participant’s projects, a writing exercise, Q & A sessions, and discussion of famous works that have transformed the impulse for social justice and advocacy into powerful writing.
