Albury Heat of the Australian Poetry Slam – Live Online

Tell your story and stay connected during this age of social distancing!

The honesty and energy of live performance is going to be transformed into a virtual package and delivered straight to your smartphone, tablet or computer.

Register in advance to perform or book online to cheer along! You’ll receive a Zoom link a few days prior to the event.

How does a slam work?

Poets have two minutes to perform their original work; no props, no costumes, no music. Judges are randomly chosen from the online audience. The two highest scoring poets will go on to represent Albury in the NSW Final and possibly from there to the National Final.

Poets must perform in their local heat to be eligible. Please get in touch with your local heat organisers to confirm your eligibility.

Note: Wodonga residents are welcome to enter the WAM Zoom Slam. Winners will perform in the VIC Final.
