Cr. Kat Bennett is the Early Years Health Promotion Coordinator at Gateway Health where she supports Wodonga schools to address mental health, healthy eating, physical activity and gender equality in the school setting.
She is passionate about Council leading the way in engaging young people, gender equality, community engagement and adapting to climate change. She is committed to increasing the number of young women as Local Government elected representatives and creates opportunities to inspire and mentor young people and address barriers that women encounter when campaigning or as elected representatives.
Kat has a degree in Community Development and Planning and holds qualifications in Project Management, Community Sector Management and Community Engagement. Kat is expecting her first baby in late March 2021.
