Sally Hughes lives locally in Corowa. She is passionate about engaging people of all ages with the natural environment. Sally is a mum, a Landcarer, a community gardener and a Councillor who is enthusiastic about building connected communities. Sally left the teaching profession in 2017 in search of her true purpose. Along the way she wrote a children’s book about Chris Tzaros- a bird ecologist who lives in Wangaratta. She loves sharing her passion for anything related to sustainability and the environment with anyone who is interested. She welcomes the opportunity to engage with young people who amaze her with their natural curiosity and interest in nature.
